ClearBlue Solutions delivers an accounting application suite that is unique to multi-level nonprofit contribution management and bottom-up reporting. It ties together the local collections offices with their organizational leadership offices on one accounting system and chart of accounts so that as churches or local offices post their books periodically those posted receipts are available to the leadership offices in real time for reporting and tracking. The leadership office structures the chart of accounts that the entire organization will use but local offices and churches can customize the chart of account further for their unique purposes. Leadership visibility into collections level books can also be customize from fully transparent to completely private depending on an organizations oversight and audit policies. The subscription price is in direct relation to the size of your membership so you are assured of a predictable and adjustable expense.
The ClearBlue Accounting Suite consists of three modules for use by churches and their denomination leadership organizations; BackOfficeTM, EnterpriseTM, and MemberPortTM. These are available via secure VPN (virtual private network) connection from our data centers with regular backups and full operational redundancy for absolute security and reliability. Your accounting data is kept secured, separate from other customer data, and only accessible by you and those you contract for auditing purposes. There is no equipment to buy or staff to maintain. Subscribers simply need an internet browser to access the system securely from anywhere 24 hours a day.
ClearBlue BackOffice operates at the local church or office level and offers a fully featured fund accounting system that integrates the General Ledger with contributions and membership management, allowing for the entry and reporting of member contributions. Fully GAAP, FASB and PII compliant, BackOffice has a complete list of features including cash and contributions, pledge drive and membership management. Quality assurance features such as audit trails on all transactions, roll-back and roll-forward capability on transactions, regularly scheduled backups and redundant transaction logs work to ensure secure and reliable data. Regular pledge and tithe receipts can be automatically allocated by percent or hierarchy to specific accounts and funds from one contribution by leadership, local office, or the member making the contribution.
ClearBlue Enterprise contains all of the functionality of the BackOffice module but serves also as a major collection and reporting module for the nonprofit leadership. Posting the books at the local level makes those accounts, down to transactions and receipts detail if desired, visible to the leadership office for reporting and inquiry. The organization's chart of accounts is maintained in the Enterprise module and any changes are brought down to each BackOffice automatically and are immediately available. Pledge drives and funds can be created and maintained at both the Enterprise level and at the BackOffice level. And with ClearBlue Enterprise there is no limit to the number of reporting levels supported above the BackOffice level to bring together an entire national or international organization of any dimension. Adding new BackOffice or Enterprise installations is seamless.
ClearBlue MemberPort is the online portal for contributing members to access information on their accounts. Members will be able to manage accounts by updating personal information, making tithe and pledge payments online, setting up automated electronic funds transfers (EFT) through credit card or pre authorized checking payments, and downloading statements and tax forms. The MemberPort will also be a source of local church and denomination information, newsletters, pledge drive status, church school roster, calendar of events and even free family email accounts free of spam and unwanted solicitations. ClearBlue Solutions is currently working with online providers to provide a full Microsoft Office virtual desktop and email to members.
